We are holding a coed sixes volleyball tournament on March tenth 2012 at the University of Saint Francis' Hutzell Athletic Center. We are going to have a more serious "experienced" league in the morning starting at ten o'clock in the morning, then starting at 3 o'clock in the afternoon we will start the recreation league. We are trying to fundraise for our volleyball program so the cost will be fifteen dollars a person or ninety dollars per team. There will be great door prizes and prizes for the winners! Once again, all the proceeds will go to supporting the University of Saint Francis volleyball program. Thank you for your consideration and hope to hear form you soon!

We will hold mandatory captains meetings at Spikes Beach Grill on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 6:30 and should last no longer than an hour, unless you have a lot of questions :). Each captain should plan on attending or have a team representative there. If you have more than one team ... you only need to attend once.

You only need to attend one night!

Nets may or may not be up for you to play ... I'm working on that :)

Mike's Asst. Varsity coach and his wife, the JV coach at Warsaw High School adopted the most beautiful newborn little girl, Adele, this past fall. To make this short, she has been at Riley Children's hospital in Indy for a couple of months now. She has been diagnosed with several things and continues to have both good and bad days. At this point, we have no idea when she will be able to return home. It seems when all things are going well and it looks like progress is being made, something else happens and she ends up back in the PICU.

That being said, we are hosting a volleyball tournament, bake sale, and raffle on May 1st. The details are in the attached flier. Please feel free to pass this on to anyone and everyone! Also, if anyone would like to donate stuff for the bake sale, items for the raffle, or even donate monetarily, please let me know. The tournament starts at 9:00 a.m. and that will also be when the bake sale begins.

Registration for the Spikes Beach Grill Summer Sand Volleyball Leagues is ends on Friday May 6.

League admittance is on a first come first serve basis. If you want to play on a particular night, then your best bet is to get your registration sheet in early. There are a limited number of teams that we can accept per night and once we reach that number, we can no longer accept teams. Please let us know if you have any questions.

This is a CO-ED Tournament (six players per team, with at least two girls). Games will be played in a Round Robin format, each team will play at least 10 games. This is a benefit tournament for families in need.

Cost: $150 per team

Registration Deadline: March 19, 2011
